A whole window display on Oxford Street is rather pleasing location for an initiative that gives women the chance to comment on their desire to see models that look like them occasionally.
This idea hatched with Debenhams, one of my favourite stores, would do exactly that! This job delivered in 2011 would kick start mainstream conversations about age representation in fashion marketing.
We shot three delicious women who were all over 40 to showcase the season's looks. Why?... Because the core customer at Debenhams is between 40 to 55. We were bringing a bit of much needed reality to the marketing messages out there. My partner Jane Galpin and I like to do that!
